Just wondering what everyone's wood trim looks like in their Longhorn's after a few years. My truck is a 15 and I've owned it since new and never really paid much attention until a few months ago and now it's bugging me. All of my wood looks and feels perfect, smooth and no discoloration of any kind except for one piece. The piece above the radio that is always getting abused by that big ball of fire in the sky. It is very rough and I'm sure I could dig some chunks out with my fingernail pretty easy if I tried. This is a truck I plan to keep for several more years at least, possibly forever once I see that extra money in my checking account every month. I don't feel like that piece of trim will last as long as anything else in the cab and not sure what I should do about it. I don't really care to buy a whole new dash bezel for $450+ so I was hoping that someone might know of a way to get just the wood trim for that bezel. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated. This is the only picture I have right now because I’m offshore but notice the roughness of the grain. The rest of the wood trim is very smooth and you can’t even feel the grain.
