Exclamation bucking issue resolved

new guy here, first real post beside over in the newbie section.

So I figured I would share what I had going on with my 2016 ram 2500 6.4l hemi. I bought the truck back in November 2016 and I have really enjoyed it, but after a week of owning it I started to get this bucking/ surging issue, and as the truck would get warmer it got worst. so I called the dealer they set me up with an appointment. Took tech for ride truck started to buck. Tech tells me it is normal and its the mds and has to learn my habits. so being new to ram coming from a Nissan titan I assumed it was normal and had to learn my driving habits. long story short I took it back 2 more times. The second time I had some software updates with no luck to fixing it and the last time I had a tech ride with me again, but a tech who owns the same truck. we go for a ride and as the truck gets warmer it gets worse. luckily the truck did what I was telling them. the tech looked at me and said "mine does not do this, you have something wrong" with no check engine light on and no codes he was stumped along with a few others. so they call a regional tech from Chrysler. In the mean time I am waiting to hear from the dealer on what they are gonna do(great service department by the way). so on 12/20/16 I get a call from the dealer to set up an appointment to drop my truck off. I dropped it off on 12/24/16 and the service manager says they have a tsb out for the egr valve to be replaced. regional guy told the dealer they have been having some issues with the egr valves and the symptoms I am having is what others have had also.
I got a call today to come get my truck and all is good. I get to the dealer an hour away and see my truck waiting for me. with that said I had a small talk with general manager and he explained everything they did. included some more software updates and a new egr. He also had the tech take it out for a longer than normal ride to make sure the truck is good to go, and all seemed good to them. so I head for home, so far so good truck drove beautiful and no hiccups.

figured if anyone else was having this issue they could tell their dealer about the EGR Valve TSB.

Do you recall the TSB number? I have a 2016 and sometimes I can feel a very slight surging while driving or accelerating. Its like my foot is moving the gas pedal up and down but I am not. Didn't know if I was being too critical or if it was something else.

By the way... Hello from Cazenovia.

I have also gotten the bucking, but it is amplified when the 5th wheel trailer is attached. I would also like to know the TSB number. Thanks for persevering!

Here is the TSB They have on the work order RRT 16-096. sounds like you guys have the same problem I had. mine started out with a slight surging and as the weeks went on it would get worse. At times i felt like I was riding a bucking bronco.
