brake lamps

I'm planning on adding an additional brake lamp.:i_rolleyes:...I have been trying to determine the best way to connect it. Does anyone know if there is a pin on the trailer wiring connector, that is activated by the brake lights? I don't want my added lamp to flash with the turn signals.... I...
