I just had 2.5" coil spacers added to the front of my 2014 2wd 1500. Im trying to figure out the best route to go for shocks but I cant seem to find a clear answer. Any advise on what to do? I cant spend a fortune on them being that I am a college student haha.
Well after tons of reading on various threads I ordered the Bilstein 5100's for the front. 1st ? is the shocks are all i need to level the front correct? and 2nd If i were to lift the back 1"-1 1/2 later i would use the regular Bilstein 5100's with blocks correct?:4-dontknow:
Just finished leveling my truck by adding 2" coil spacer and shocks.
Back spacers not required.
I love the stance and it rides much smoother than the factory shocks.
It feels more sturdy and is sufficient enough for everyday driving.
Here are the list of parts and part numbers that I used...
Hey guys, I'm looking for a good leveling kit for the '11 Ram. I'm not sure if it's best to go with new shocks or a spacer kit, any opinions?
I don't want to break the bank here, but if the shocks are that much better a solution then I'm willing to spend what's necessary.
