plastidip

Pretty sure they are the fake chrome plated 20inch stock rims and then the chrome emblems. I want to plasti dip them black but I've heard not to plasti dip chrome. Will I damage the chrome? will it not remove correctly? I want to be able to remove the plasti dip later on without damage. Thanks,

Hey everyone, I was thinking about plasti dipping my rims on my 01 1500. I have the 3 column rims and I've seen some pics that look really good. And downsides to dipping them? Any tips or tricks? I'd prefer to do it with them on the truck, but if it's really hard I'll take em off. Let me know...

I have a 2012 mineral gray crew cab. It has the stainless bumpers and nerf bars. I plan on plasti dipping the wheels soon and was thinking about doing the bumpers and step bar too. Has anyone done this? Was hoping to see some pics or get further suggestions before getting out the spray. Thanks!
