I purchased a set of Denso Platinum TT plugs gapped to 0.040 from Amazon. I have a 15' Ram Sport with the Hemi. I hear OE for my truck is Iridium. My question is can I run these plugs safely in my vehicle? Im currently sitting at 141K trouble free miles with the current OE plugs. Thanks.

Hey all - Stripped spark plug threads in the head, looking for advice, thanks in advance. Background - I have an '03 RAM 1500 with the minivan engine (3.7L V6), 150k miles. Noticed a knocking sound, pulled the code, misfire on cylinder 6 (rear passenger side). Found stripped spark plug threads...

If you’re like me, you’ve tried everything and read everything about this dip/ stumble/ rough idle when stopped in drive and reverse (neutral and park seem smoother) —that doesn’t seem to qualify for a Check Engine Light... This is my first post, and it’s about a solution reached with the help...

Well actually 60,319. I decided to change them myself this time because the 3 dealers here all want over $300 to do it, but the parts are only $60 (OEM Mopar plugs made by NGK) on Amazon. A penny saved is a penny earned, so I just earned myself $240 in 4 hours. The job was not too bad though...

Hi, First off let me start by saying, I am a terrible Hemi owner. I got this truck brand new and have done very minor work to it. I do all my own oil changes (woop-te-do right?) and recently decided to change an idler pulley that was squealing. On most things, I followed my stepdad's advice...

Called dealer today to get quote on spark plug change (2010 5.7) and they said they needed VIN to see which of two plugs they needed for the job. After I gave it to them, I was told mine required a "higher level and more expensive plug." Total price on job was over $425 dollars. Called...

Bought my truck in April of this year. Finally decided to do a plug change. Fuel mileage is starting to go bad and truck feels like it's missing, so I took on the task and got it done in about 1 1/2 hrs. My biggest pain is removing the mopar intake. Anyways plugs felt rough coming out and the...

Today I was changing my top bank of spark plugs in my 2008 ram 1500 4.7L. It should have been an easy install, except whoever changed them last did not grease up the boot, so the boot coil ended up melting to some of the plugs. Anyway, I'm now in need of a few new rubber boots, but neither...

Hello all. I have a 2008 4.7L with 35k on it. I just changed my 30k plugs,(bosch FR8TE2) I did not use any anti-seize on the threads and torqued to 20 ft lbs. I usually use anti-seize on everything but i didnt this time. My question is this: It seems that by using seize you can actually torque...
