whats up ....I got na ram 4.7 and want to get some more power out of it ....are there turbos and superchargers avalible?

none you can buy new. paxton's superchargers sometimes come up no real turbo's but sts for the hemi can be made to work

I would recommend a CAI and Programmer for some low cost increases.

Nitrous Oxide is a chemical supercharger .
The whole idea with a blower/turbo or nitrous is to get more air into the engine.
All 3 basically accomplish the same thing
Nitrous might be an option for you to check into,alot cheaper then a turbo or supercharger

The 4.7s are known for blowing head gaskets and warping heads because they're aluminum. I've had it happen twice to me in my '04 quadcab. I was considering putting a turbo on mine, but a mechanic that specializes in Dodges told me I would end up burning up my new engine if I put one on it. He said they are easy to run hot and from my experience, he's probably right.

I would go that far if you get it hot it will blow a hg though I have blown 2 both in a way were my fault the first didn't have the cap on tight after a check and got caught in traffic the second my efan blew a fuse once again I was in Houston rush hour traffic where I could really get out. I have a turbo in the works now the biggest concern is the pistons and the top ring only being an 1/8 of an inch from the top. I have owned my turck longer than most I've had it since 05 and changed just about everything on it.
