Just bought an 2004 dodge Durango with hemi 5.7 has a rough idle but will run all day give it gas white smoke comes out you can smell the oil burning real bad but it is white smoke two of the coils were on plugged plug them back in they give you a little tick sound now but it still blowing smoke is it something I should put a stop smoke additive into the engine and see if that helps or could it be the coils are bad that's why they were unhooked if you reave the gas up high as soon as you leave off of it it will stall but does start right back up

White smoke is typically coolant/water. Blue or gray is oil. Does it smoke bad during acceleration (not revving but driving) or does it smoke more on deceleration. Does it smoke worse after sitting still then accelerating?
White is coolant leak, cracked head, bad head gasket or breach in block or something. Smoke on acceleration is rings and on decel valve guides same as sitting still and then smoke.
