Picked up my new truck last night. I love it ,serious upgrade from the 02 Dakota i was driving.

One small glitch (maybe) the Headlights don't come on when in the Auto mode. Maybe im doing something wrong but in complete darkness when set on Auto , no lights, kinda bummed . The dealer i bought from is 40 miles from my house because the one at the corner were complete a**holes, so really don't want to take in for service. Thoughts? Where is the sensor? Maybe broken or covered?

Also after searching this and many other forums Ive found no real answers as to proper backspacing. I have the 17's and want a black 17 that will sit approx near stock or slightly further out. I hate wheels way past fender. Anybody have pics/ examples of their after market wheels (please include width and your B.S and offset)

my choices are either
17x 9 with 5" bs/ 1 mm offset or 4.5" bs / -12 offset
or
but alot i like seem to have 17x 8 w 4.5" bs / 0 offset

Thanks

No idea! I run min in manual mode all the time because of my HID kits, but it should be an easy and FREE fix from the dealer. And for the wheels, I would go with the 17X9 version, makes more tire look better! Congrats on the new truck and post up pics if you can! T

the "auto light" sensor is at the bottom of the windshield near the midlle of the dash. its that little round dome thing about the size of a nickle. at least thats where it is on mine
