I have issues with my dashbaord lights. When I drive at night I have to use a mini flash light to see my gauges. My dome lights work, I have no radio, and My headlights work fine. I was told to try fuses, which I did it just didn't do anything. Or the headlight switch which was also done, and still nothing. Lighter outlets do not work either. Not sure what to do here. Don't have the money to take it to a shop

You are posting in the first gen section: 1ST Generation Dodge Ram – 1993 & Older

Did you check all the bulbs in the dash? When you turn the rheostat does that make any difference?

Man, I apologize. I've used 4shared off and on for years, but not much recently. Checked the link to see if it went to the right place, never tried downloading it. I use a really tight FoxFire browser and tight anti virus, don't have problems with any of that usually. I can send the file to email, PM with an address if you like.

Do you have a voltmeter or any test equipment?
Not any more. I had an appointment to take it in to check. Took me almost 200 dollars for them to tell me it was a fuse. Which it was not because I replaced all the fuses. And showed them myself that the fuses and the fuse boxes are still good.

Is it just the dashboard lights or all the lights when you pull the switch(running lights). If both are out it could be the connector on the switch. The terminals on the switch heat up and melt the connector(see link). And yes as said the dimmer aka rheostat. Turn it to the right for full brightness.

You stated it was the dash lights and lighter and radio that weren't working.
You really need a voltmeter or test light along with the wiring schematic to troubleshoot if it isn't a simple fuse.
