I'm swapping out my 1999 Durango Magnum 318CID 2WD with a 2002 Magnum 360CID.

My question:
"is the displacement increase a concern for the factory stock computer?"

If so can I install a computer from another 1999 with a 360 2WD to accommodate the 360?

I'm also replacing the 44RE with a rebuilt 518-46RE. Is there any issues known about the swap? I'm replacing the torque converter with the 360 externally balanced. I'm not going to reuse the 318 torque converter.

My Durango will be used for light duty towing, I've installed a CompCam Electronic Grind Dual Profile Cam, Stock bore 10.0:1 SpeedPro Flattop Hyperutectic Pistons, New casting 63cc chamber 2.02" intake 1.62 Exhaust Magnum Heads. Replacing the Kegger with a dual plane Holly type mount intake with a 4150 Mopar Throttle Body. I need my new Air Gap Intake modified and machined to use new Edelbrock Fuel Rails with 26lb per hour Injectors.

I'm having a great time with this swap, and look forward to hearing back from the expert Mopar mechanics.

I would think if you got a 360 pcm it "should" work. But you may need to get it flashed to accept the BCM etc. Or it my just up and work. But I am pretty sure the ECM will give faults about VIN. As for the trans, beats me.

With all those mods just a "360 computer" is not going to be sufficient. With the throttle body alone you are doubling the amount of cfm rating from the stock one. You need a tune to take advantage of all the mods.
