I recently noticed my truck having no power when accelerating. feels like i am towing something, had it at a shop they said the checked out the tranny and they said it shiffted perfect, all the pressure was good, the cats are not pluged, and the 02 sensors are switching properly. they said the feel what i was feeling and said it was the fan clutch sticking. i found that hard to believe but hes a family friend of ours for years help me out many times. he owns his own shop been in business for many years. he must have miss diagnosed it.

the new problem. coming home from the clubs in Scottsdale had full load 6 people in the truck and 4 in back, the most weight my truck has seen sence i bought it. my truck seemed to be jumping out of overdrive and going to first gear, it was fine at red lights but would shutter badly when accelerating, i got in front of my house and the truck stalled as i stopped and now wont move. it stalles when i put it in gear. i know it has to be the torque converter solenoid. has anyone had this problem or anything they can send me so i can test the solenoid from the TCM such as a diagram and the ohms spec of the solenoid. or any write ups.

Thanks for reading this and any help will be appreciated.

yeah i had to get a new one. i have the 46re. they took my unit out sent it to be rebuilt flushed the transmission cooler and radiator for any pieces, put it all back together in 4 days. i had them reuse my unit because i wanted my hard parts that had only 130k on them not some other transmission that might have 230k on the hard parts. 1700 all said and done. with new torque converter and 2yr 24k mile warranty.
