Hey everyone! I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 that I just bought. And I just now am noticing that the heat isn’t hot. More like like luke warm. The engine is at operating temperature. Still not hot. When I turn off the blower and let it sit. When I turn the blower on again it’s super hot and then starts to get cold again. I have removed the dash. Checked all the blend doors work and are not broken and all the actuators work. The evaporator core was corroded and dirty so I replaced it and I went ahead and replaced the heater core. I haven’t put it all back together yet but am I missing something? The heater core should be super hot and then when you turn the heat on the blend door reroute the air through it and it gets super hot. Correct???

Anyway. I’d appreciate any and all help figuring this out.

After you get it back together , check the hoses to and from core for circulation, if all good then good if not check water pump.in case impeller ain’t right.
