Iv for an 04 4.7 5 speed. I'm looking for it to be a fun street truck but still pull a trailer when I need to. I ordered a can tuned sct from airram, an airaid cai, and an efan. What will the gains be from this? What else would y'all suggest do? Kinda on a budget but don't mind to spend on something that's worth it.

Welcome to the forumz. Everything helps when you drive a heavy ass truck. I don't know what Dodge did on the last gen 4.7's to pull 310 hp, might do some research. Check with (hemituner) he can probably help you to get everything there is, out of her.:smileup:

They revised the cylinder heads (twin plug), different cams and intake manifold with tuning. From what I have heard the 08+ cams are comparable to HO cam timing (and cheaper/more readily available, since HO cams are like gold).

In definetly looking into 08+ Manifold next, cams are nearly impossible to find

Ekinslow67 did you ever get a response or supplier to do this? I recently bought an 05 2wd with the 4.7 and want to increase the HP.

Curiousity makes me ask,what kind of 1/4 mile times is your hotrodded 4.7 doing.

havent had time to run any 1/4's im kinda far from a track and i work alot. i need to get a set of 17s before i go because it makes no since to try and go to the track with these massively heavy 24s i know they must cost me 30+ hp

Electric fan so you can get rid of the clutch fan, less parisitic drag.

Icywhite,have you had any trouble with your sct? Mine keeps saying "error 1013: read os part number failed. Tech support never helps me any
