I wrecked my gfs 2004 Ram 1500 4.7L single cab 2WD. The body is trashed all of the mechanical components are salvageable. I called the motor shop we use and they had a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4.7L 2WD single cab with a blown motor. I have uninstalled the motor and transmission form both of the vehicles. I already know the tone ring/target wheel/ crankshaft resonator/crankshaft signal wheel have different teeth counts on the two motors. I know the ECMs have different connectors. I am wanting to know if there is anything I can do and still make the 04 run in the 02body other than 1.swap the tone ring or 2. swap the ecm and wiring harness.
