What year is it and how many miles? Does it backfire when you give it gas?I took off from a stop and it made a loud noise like a tire blowing out and then I had no power
I hate to say it but sounds like a broken valve spring. When the hemi first came out they had some valve spring issues. Easiest ways to check is with scan tool looking at adaptive. Not having that I would run comp check if you have a low cyl remove that valve cover and check. It can be changed without removing the head2004 - 219,000 miles and yes it will backfire. Thanks
What about the crank case vent tube?If it is sucking air thru the dipstick tube & the oil fill cap I would look at the intake gaskets. Where else could cause vacuum to come from.
