hello. My name is Karl. I have a -2005- 3.7 v6, I am working on for a friend. It had a blown head gasket, but the truck was running and smoking. One of his buddies an himself removed the heads and had them reconditioned. They had a problem with the timing chain. So they took off the timing cover and aligned the chain. Now the truck has no intake draw threw the throtle body (at all ?) and will not start. Fuel - Ok, Ing - Ok. I was woundering if any one had any ideas, before I start going over on what they have done. And check the timing chain. There is very little - to none, air intake draw (threw throtle body) when you place your hand over the throtle body opening, holding it wide open and cranking the engine over at normal engine cranking speed. (hot battery/good starter) I thank You for all your help with this problem. All suggestions are most welcome.

I'd say the timing is way off. You have to start with #1 piston at TDC . More than that, couldn't say. Perhaps get a Chilton's manual?
