I have a 2006 ram it was stolen and after I got it back replaced the entire steering wheel and ignition with one from lkq.it came with the transponder key and fob all in one. So the door unlock key and the ignition key are different. Long story short I never put a battery in it.well I messed around and did pushed the button and it worked. I went to start the truck and it started and ran for 2 seconds. Then died I did this several times and now I get nothing and have a solid red light on the dash.
So my question is which key is the system trying to read? Can I bypass it and install a push button ignition in or something so I can drive my truck?
