I’m very proud to share that I have successfully converted the front end of my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie to that of the newer (2013-2018) Laramie models.

It went from this:
138796

To this:
138797

And from this:
138798

To this:
138799

This is what the truck looks like without a front end:
138800

And after the conversion I’m left with these old parts:
138801

Below is the complete parts list for a chrome bumper conversion with tow hooks and fog lights:

1. 68222828AA - Ram Headlamp Mounting Bracket (passenger side)

10. 68197697AA - Front Upper Fascia

11. 68160853AB – Front bumper (no holes for parking sensors)

12. 68104821AF - Front Fog Lamp, Left

13. 68104820AF - Front Fog Lamp, Right

Because I live in The Netherlands (Europe) it quickly became very expensive to have all of these parts shipped to my country.
And so I decided to go with mostly aftermarket (non Mopar) parts to keep the costs down as much as possible.

The downside of going aftermarket was that I had to figure out myself which types and sizes screws, nuts and bolts were needed.
Unfortunately, none of the screws and bolts from the old frontend were compatible with the new aftermarket parts.
Only the genuine Mopar parts came as complete sets with everything included.

The aftermarket parts made it more difficult, it took way longer than it should have and that was very frustrating.
I'm very happy with the end result, but if I had to do it all again, then I would go with only genuine Mopar parts :p.

Nice job! Looks great
The only question I have is why? Is there some functionality that the updated front end gives you that the original doesn't or is it purely for the "look"?

It always seemed to me that the horizontal 2009-12 driving lights put out much more light than the newer 2013+ vertical lights...

Yes, the main reason was purely for the looks of the new grille :p.
And the second reason was that the front upper fascia had to be replaced because of the previous owner drilling holes through it.
For me this was the perfect opportunity to try and see if I could make the newer parts fit.

An impressive amount of work!
Well done!
Did you perform all that work in the location where the photos are taken, in what looks like a public space, and on that rather lovely herringbone brick surface?

Yep, everything here is a lot smaller and closer together than in America :p.
The truck never left that spot when the old front end was completely off.
But before that I spray painted the front upper fascia inside a tent.
If only I had a barn that would fit my truck, it would be so much easier ;).

It looks great
I had a 2009 and the 2013 both were the exact color and like you I traded 09 for 2013 for the upgraded look. Only reason I don’t have now someone did a hit and run in 2019 causing me have to replace

Oh wow, but this means that you're now lucky enough to own a new 2019 model?

True but the 2013 was to be my last truck so I could buy my dream car. I got a 2019 laramie quad cab but traded for limited. Now it will be my last and in the next year or two I will decide what super sports car I want.

Well, funny story, after driving a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 for 5 years, I traded it in for a 2013 Dodge Charger V6.
Newer models or those with a V8 were not available in my country at the time.
After a few months I started to hate it and unfortunately that feeling never left.

Compared to my Ram: very low seating position, less visibility, very small side mirrors and way less power.
I regret trading in my first Ram for the Charger so much, that I traded in the Charger for my current Ram.
Now I know that I prefer pickup trucks over sports cars and that was an expensive lesson :p

I live in IN and went to OK (USA) and bought this one. It looks like they hit a deer with it . It drove home great and it is also like yours getting the 13 up front end . The end result is going to be NICE!!!
Oh wow, fingers crossed that not too much brackets are bent.
It will be a lot more work than in my case, but good luck :D !
