Hi all, so driver side rear door made popping sound, and window went down, did not come up. Removed door panels and found that plastic clip on top of guide rail had broken, see pics. So, after I've done some searching, it appears you cant simply replace these plastic clips, and that you have to buy the entire regulator/panel...more than $200 Mopar part when all is said and done...no aftermarkets either. It would be a shame to spend that much $ when I could use that $ to make other needed repairs. Any luck from anyone else on finding replacement plastic clips? Or heck, how could you get someone to 3D print one? Who would have the file? Thanks!

You may get someone to 3-d print one. But as far as finding that part only. No dice. My 02 Durango I have replaced the driverside so many times I can get all the tools the first time to the tool box. Have to change the whole lift/regulator out.

Thanks jdh, but I have no resources to the file needed or find someone to print it. Oh well, that $200 sure would have gone better on some steaks and drinks! Thanks again.

Hi there, I just saw your post and have the same problem. Did you have any luck repairing it? How did you get your window loose from the bracket? I couldn’t find any clips to remove, is the window just sitting in the plastic holder? Thanks, Brian

I designed this piece and have .STL files I can send to anyone interested, just pm me. I had the driver's side fall down in November, found this thread and saw that nobody had a solution available. Went ahead and designed it, had a friend print it and successfully been working in place since. Then just in January, luck of the draw my passenger side failed in the same manner.

With that said, I have both top/bottom/left/right designed that should fix just about any of the rear quad cab window clips that could fail.

If you feel inclined to pay for my efforts, just donate whatever you want to a good dog rescue in your area :)

Hi!

I am trying to help my son fix the rear window regulator on his 2011 Ram rear door and found your post on a google search. If you wouldn't mind sharing your STL file I have a friend who will print the part for us.

PS- I donate regularly to the Shih Tzu rescue group here in Austin, "Wee Rescue". We have two hard luck cases in our family now, and have had others before. We have taken in the latest one as a last chance for her, due to a rough time and some behavioral issues. She is doing great after a year. Rescue's rock.

Recommend you print it as solid as you can (100% infill) so it's a nearly solid chunk of plastic. Then carve out the pockets carefully so you don't split the piece in half. I can usually carve it out with a little pick but maybe a Dremel and a small drill bit would work. Good luck! Take pics and write a how-to if you're inclined to keep the information active in this thread.

Just had this same
Just sent you a pm. I guess STL files can't be added as an extension so I'll email them if you don't mind providing an email to send to.
Just had this same thing happen to me about a month ago! Hadn't been able to find a solution until now. I don't have a method to 3D print, but at least having the .STL file will be a good starting point haha. If you don't mind sharing, I'll PM you to get the file. For me its my right side rear window on my 2012 Ram 1500.

Zac92,
I'm having the same problem with the back windows of my 09 dodge 1500. The top clips snap in half. Is there a way I could get that .STL file?
Thank you, Nick

Hey Zac hope you’re having a great day.

As luck would have it I just had my regulator clips break on me two days ago and that’s how I found this forum and your message about having designed them for 3d printing. I wanted to ask if you could send them to me and hopefully that fixes my problem, and sure your donation will go to my local charity 👍🏽.

Thanks a-lot
