Finally got around to starting the mods to my Ram aka Black Beauty! Sold the race car so the wife told me im free to mod the truck just nothing that will void the warrenty. The truck came with a CAI and magna flow exhaust already when I bought it so all of the performance mods are done minus the tune. Now some pics before I get to boring and ramble on for hours. Also filled the tires with nitrogen because I was tired of the change in tire pressure due to the weather.

Hated the chrome bug guard so I took that off tonight when I got off work. Pictures soon to follow hard to get pictures when its dark.

Had the bed cover installed today fits nice and snug.

Mods to come include debadging, removing the chrome door protectors, blacking out the front grill unless I can trade of find a black one cheap, installing the in cabin air filter, tune, and a set of nice black 22" or 24" rims, and smoking out the tail lights and 3rd brake light. Pretty much going to be the extent of my mods unless I find others that catch my eye.

If anyone is interested in the bug guard or door protectors I'm welling to make a deal to finance future mods.

Installed my in cabin air filter on Monday. Was one of the easiest mods I have ever done. It is really easy to cut out the plastic piece and everything fits just like it would have come from the dealer.

Tomorrow im going to try my luck at blacking out the tail lights and 3rd brake light. Will post pictures tomorrow after completed.

Dropping the truck off Friday at my body guy to have the badges removed and the paint buffed out.

Also taking a poll if I should remove the Nerf bars?

I'd ask the Mrs. about removing the nerf bars....she may not like climbing up into the cab without a step.

MADDOG that is a valid concern. I talked to the Mrs. about it and she says she can get in just fine but I dont believe her to much. I will watch her get in next time and determine then if they are going to come off or stay on.

Would love to get a programmer but not sure what brand to get. So many options and dont want to spend a lot of money for a bad product.

After a very long nerve wrecking day of painting and painting some more I finally finished my tail lights and 3rd brake light.

Didnt mess anything up but did destroy the brake bulb in the 3rd brake light. Dont worry ordered all the LEDs to replace them today

Next time I will probably just pay someone to do it for me not sure if I like my own work I am pretty judgmental.

Got my LEDs in the mail today! Love them and am hooked now. Replaced all the inside bulbs with blue and put cool blue in the reverse and changed the 3rd brake light brake bulb. So many places to put them not enough money. Will get some pictures soon.

Also debadged my truck yesterday. After about 2 hours of heating and polishing it looks like a whole new truck. Now I just need some new rims and a grill.

Truck looks good but you should clearcoat and color sand the tail light lenses so the look more glossy. That's my project for today.

Nice looking truck. I have to agree, the chrome bug guard's are ugly as no other! Looks pro without it on there! Keep the mods a'comin!
