Hello, truck sat for a couple weeks while on vacation and a mouse had a good snack on my Injector and coil wires for cylinder 4/coil D. I cut back the loom to expose more wire and there are 3 wires, brown/white stripe! which go to which? I determined 2 were grouped together coming out of the top of the loom to go to the injector and the other solo wire to the coil. The Blue wire for the coil was intact.
Started it up and the code still reads "misfire secondary circuit Coil D." Swapped Coil B to D and the error still reads coil D. So the question is, how do i know which brown/white strip wire goes where?! I'm assuming I wired it right because I do not get a code for the injectors. The coil isn't bad and the loom is untouched so thinking the rest of the wires are intact. New coil connector pigtail?

Was hoping someone would answer you with this because I just had the same issue on my 09 squirrel mouse got up under the hood and ate coil wires and one injected wire put them back together and I have coil number six insufficient ionization swapped coils like you did the same message on the same cylinder Clear it and it’s still there after I start it

Thanks for getting back. on mine It was the both coil wires to coil number six and then both injector wires to injector number four so where they come out of the harness, I could not have crossed them because they were too far apart I suspect somehow one of the chewed up wires grounded when I started it up the very first time it did something to the PCM
