I need some help. My sister had someone disassemble my dads truck while he is in the VA Hospital.
Last year he had 2 strokes and after the 2nd one he was sent to rehab in Pearland,TX he was transferred to the VA and the COVID-19 hit so I had not been able to see him. He has PTSD, failing kidneys, lung problems and he was exposed to agent orange so he's already had it bad and my sister has gone and made it worse by preventing him from going home.
They were driving his truck around and when my dad told them that I was coming to pick it up to use it while he was in the hospital they disabled the truck. I went down to Texas City to get my dad's paperwork from my sister with the police and I took a camera and I went and checked it out but it wouldn't start and it had a message about fuses and I didn't have my OBD2 reader on me to check the codes so I sent a local tow truck operator to pick it up but because he was busy they couldn't pick it up till Monday. It was parked in the street in front of the house and when the tow truck driver got there the parts were all on the ground next to the truck and they had it boxed in with her car. The battery and the top intake parts were missing as long as some other stuff. So I didn't find out that this had happened till the truck arrived and I handed the keys to him to get it off the tow truck. He went to turn the truck on and the truck was dead and that's when he told me what happened when he went to pick it up. If he had called me when my sister was out there the cops would have come by to assist and they would have witnessed the situation.
I already have the local Texas City police investigating because one of them went with me to get the keys for the truck but it took me calling the County DA and their Supervisor to get them to even make a report and start the process of a criminal investigation. APS is also investigating because my sister delayed my father from getting back home or to an assisted living facility. Meanwhile my father is stuck in the hospital and he is having to have Lonestar Legal Aid Veterans help me with his Power of Attorney so I can get him back where he needs to be.
Meanwhile I still have to fix the truck so I can get him from the VA to his home. I was going to have it towed to a local shop to be fixed before this but since the battery was gone I have to go find another battery and then locate all of the missing pieces. Right now what I need is the service manuals for a 2011 Dodge RAM ST so I can make of list of everything I need to get it running again. If anyone can help me put together a list of what I need to buy based on this picture and some locations of where I might find the parts it would be help alot. I am currently canvassing LKQ in Houston, TX for a 2011 model so I can just go and grab what I need but if anyone has anything laying around they want to get rid of it would help.
Thanks in advance!
