I am brand new but love the site! I recently purchased a 2012 Crew Cab and I noticed a creeking/dash rattle that drives me nuts! I do love the truck other then this noise. Seems to come and go.... However, it is worse when driving down the hwy at 65-70 mph. It also seems as though it gets louder the warmer the cabin gets...? Any ideas on what the issue is and how to fix it? :4-dontknow:

I'm thinking it isn't the bezel, but probably some wiring harness rubbing in the dash behind it. Since it increase when warming/warmed up - probably directly adjacent to the heater vent outlet in that area expanding and rubbing. How to fix? - Let the dealer do it, and keep going back till they do. The moment you try it yourself - they'll claim it is not their issue any longer.

Excatly what RCGreg said. You fix the problem by going to the dealer and telling them about it. You have a warrantee, you paid for it (in the cost of the truck), so go use it. If they cant fix it repeatedly lemon law the vehicle. If you attempt to fix it, you just let the dealer off the hook for needing to fix it under warrantee.

When you go to the dealer, take a ride with the Writer or Tech and make sure they hear what you hear. Then when they say it is fixed, take the same ride again before you consider it fixed.

Still Not fixed!

I went to dealer today for my first oil change and explained the noises I hear around the radio bezel. The dealer took the bezel off and indicated my radio screws were loose. Apparently, they tightened the Bezel screws as well. They also put something called anti itch behind the bezel. However, on the ride home I still have the creeking noise.........!
Help..... noises/rattles drive me nuts!

Keep after them, every time you go to the dealer, make sure it is noted on the service invoice
when they say it is normal for your year Ram
ask them why the engineering dept, spent 1/2 million dollars making the Ram perfect, except for the squeak in your dash ??

I had the same issue. I kept thinking it was something in the dash. All i could tell was the sound was coming from the passenger side somewhere on the dash board. I ended up tracing it to a seal on the windshield on the passenger side, bottom corner. You will see like 2 seals meet up, one of mine was loose. I figured in the wind it rattles which is making it sound like its coming from the dashboard. A couple drops of CA glue and it was good. Yours might be different but maybe you could check it out.
