Is the Media Center 430 REN a direct plug and play swap with the 2012 1500 Express? Like the one in this for sale thread?

I would ask the seller but I don't have enough posts. Will this particular head unit support the factory backup camera? I Guess it doesn't matter I don't have enough posts to make an offer either lol. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

That head unit will not work in the Ram. That unit uses a Low Speed Bus, and the Ram uses a High Speed Bus. And the mounting tabs for the head units changed for 2012 models. Before 2012 the mounting tabs were on the sides of the head units, on 2012s, they're on the top and bottom.

I bought this unit on ebay just received it yesterday decided not to put it in may go with aftermarket. I need to sell it if you are interested it is in excellent condition and it does take only 10 minutes to install. I have paypal. You can email me if you are interested.

I also installed the RBZ in my truck last saturday. I purchased it locally and installed it while the seller waited. I just wanted to make sure it was working.

APSTRAM - How much did it run you? I wish I got the navigations setup in mine. I might be doing an aftermarket Alpine hu instead. But, if the RBZ is cheaper I will do that for sure.

Since most people are looking for the nav units the RBZ non nav goes for much less. I found one from a Wrecked mini van. $375.00 no shipping since it was local.
