I need immediate help here! I'm going to look at a 2012 Ram Single Cab HEMI over the weekend and the only reason I'd buy it is if I knew it could be supercharged and handle other bolt-ons like Headers, Cams, etc...

I've seen this for the 2009-2011's but I don't know why it wouldn't include the 2012 Rams. What's so different?

What other companies manufacture kits for the newer Rams? :4-dontknow:

I do think there kits work for the 12 but go to ripps section to confirm. The trans with the blower and headers will be at its limits. So that's something to also considered.

Tuning is the big issue. The ECM is new for the 12 models and Dodge just recently sold the codes to Diablo and BullyDog to get into the ecm. S/C tuning is a long way off. Ripp is working on it with success. You can swap to a 2010 ECM to get around this.. Like others have stated, the tranny is the weak link. If you drag race the truck, expect to replace trans.
these trucks with LSD's & 4.10's and drag slicks can hit 13 second 1/4 miles easy. There is also a big problem with T/C and ESC. You'll need a Trinity tuner to get around that. You are looking at an easy 10 grand to s/c one of these properly. Not to mention quite a bit of time on a dyno tuning it.

We are almost there... just working on the parameters to allow the stock ecu programming understand boost...

As far as trans go, Ours held together just fine, Look into the ATS Copilot..

I have followed your progress on the s/c Ram. Nice work and very cool rig. I know you guys stated that the trans holds up fine for towing and off-road use. Any drag racing with her yet? also there is some tranny control product you guys are using... Care to elaborate for the o.p.
