I have a 2013 Ram crewcab 5.7 foot with the Rambox. I am looking to switch the Rambox bed for a standard 5.7 foot bed. Ideally I'd find one that was the black gold color. Anyone interested in a sale or swap?

From what I was told by a salesman at the dealership... That couldn't be done because of the difference in the regular bed and the RAM box bed of the body or something like that (its been awhile since what I was told so I could be mistaken). The salesman could also be wrong to.
I was hoping to do the same thing awhile back when I was told no.
I had even found a RAM box bed in great shape and my color on eBay for under $1000 shipped. The RAM box is the one option I wanted and wasn't able to get.

I've had two conversations with the dealership parts department and so far no one has told me no yet. I don't see why it would be any different but I'm not a mechanic. I would assume attachment sites would be the same or at least predrilled into the frame and it would be a matter of replacing. My local body shop says he changes beds all the time and takes about an hour but that wasn't a Rambox.

That's good if it can be done. I personally don't see why it can't but like you said I'm not a machanic either.

I wish I could take you up on that offer, especially since your in NC also.

The easiest way to find out would be to get a tape measure out and do the measurements on both.
