Hello,

I have 2013 RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn and I am looking to change my rear shocks.

I am currently looking at the following brands, what would you recommend me?

  • KYB
  • SACHS
  • Monroe

I like the bilsteins that I’m running on mine. If you’re replacing the shocks on the rear you should also replace the struts up front. Keep all four corners well balanced.

I've got only one of the rear ones damaged by accident, not that it's leaking or something due to aging.

If you just want to replace one buy a cheap oem one. I replaced all four corners on my truck at 18k. The truck rode much better.

NevadaMike, I am currently researching to replace the full strut and shock assembly on the front of my 2013 2WD Crew Cab. I am also going to replace the rear shocks like you advised Kolev.

I haven't seen anything online yet that makes me feel confident that I would be ordering the right product. Do you have any pointers?
