The knob with the shift buttons in the steering wheel only apply to the 8spd trans. If you opt for the 6spd, the controls are either a column sifter of console shifter like before.That ram is sexy, no shifter? Just a knob.

The HEMI with the 8 speed ZF transmission will not be available until at least January 2013

Well i guess opinions vary, But i will be sticking to my 2011 Sport.
I recently had a 2012 Hemi as a rental and and was not impressed at all with the 6 speed. and the 2013 Interior to me is just more that can go wrong that we can not fix are selves

The 2012 6 speed is the exact same transmission as the 2011 5 speed if I'm not mistaken. The only difference is a different torque converter and new programming that allows you to manually select the 2nd gear prime kickdown. Still drives and shifts the exact same as the 2011 when simply put into drive.
