So I'm loven my big black truck but I noticed another Big Horn with Bench seats today in our parking lot (short bed) so I decided to walk around his truck. He has a gray interior with bench seats but his fabric is different and his seats have map pockets on the back. My seats actually look just like the ones in the base Tradesman, and looking at the brochure it says the Big Horn has 'upgraded' seat fabric. So did Ram install the wrong seats? Can anyone else confirm they have 'tradesman' edition bench seats in a Big Horn Crew Cab? The Tradesman edition fabric has a 6 sided polygon as a design in the middle part with gray sides.

Thanks

I think even if you have a console the 2 front seats are the same it's just the center that's different. With that, I have a console and my seats do have the map pockets. My 2011 had the bench and had the pockets also. Both Big Horns. I'd go poke around a few dealers to see what's on their lots and what they have.

I'll try to get some tonight. One more thing I just noticed is my back seat is all solid, no 60/40 split and no center armrest with 2 drick holders to fold out. I called my salesman and asked him to look at the ones they have and call Dodge. Clearly on the Build your own Ram web site there is two different interiors between the Tradesman and Big Horn:(

So does anyone have a Big Horn rear seat in Crew Cab that does not have the center arm rest?

I've had a 2012 Big Horn and now have a 14. WIth that said my interior on both was/is upgraded from the base tradesman. The 60/40 spilt seats were/are present on both.

Edit: We probably have a very similar truck. Or at leat should be anyway.

Ok is official I have the wrong interior. Dealership is supporting me getting the premium seats and has no idea how my truck came this way.

I'm looking forward to firmer, power driver and lumber the most, these tradesman seas are just too soft.

I think you're gonna like the upgraded seats. I have center console buckets and the rear is 60/40 split with drink holders on the floor and fold down armrest with 2 drink holders. My dog loves the fold flat floor too.

Wow talk about a QC mistake. That is kind of a obvious thing for them to make a mistake on.
Agreed & makes you wonder how many less conspicuous options go undetected (wrong gear ratios installed as an example). There is just no excuse for this as far as I'm concerned. QC appears to be limited when see a botch like this. But I'm glad OP is getting what he ordered. Still it's unacceptable especially if it happens randomly which tells me it has still not been addressed.

Anyone have a pic of the fold down arm rest in the back? I have a 2014 Big Horn with the 60/40 split and the cup holders on he floor (just like my 2011 had) but I don't have or have seen any fold down arm rest back there.

Well I called Ram today and they said they are bumping my issue up and should have a call back tomorrow. As I've said it is a great truck and I just want what should be on it. Considering I have like only 2 minor paint issues, the ride is amazing, and no vibrations or anything else wrong I just want to keep this truck vs buy back or new order. Might change tomorrow with call back just have to see what they can do.

I'm surprised this has happened before. But based on the ordering process the sales manager showed me it looks like the premium seats can be unselected and nobody would catch it since he Big Horn package shows up at the top.

Ya that armrest in the back seat seems to also come and go. Looking at all the Ram documentation there is no mention of it as part of any seat package. The Big Horn should include the M9 seats which are called Premium Cloth-trimmed 40/20/40, but there is no documentation that the rear seat should have a fold down arm rest. If you go and do a build it and look at the interior picture when choosing either a gray or brown interior you can see it. I'm going to try and make sure they get it that way for me.

So I'm still waiting on Ram to make me right. Apparently there is too much to do to try and replace the seats with the the power seats. Sounds like BS to me but I can also see that they are less then excited about a dealership tearing up my truck and then causing more issues for me.

First option they offered was the Leather Seat package installed. As nice as that sounds, I specifically wanted to get away from leather after my last SUV. Most people would have probably jumped at that option since it looks like a real nice install. Instead I told them if replacing the truck is too much then I need confidence in this for life so I said I need a lifetime Max Care zero deductible extended warranty and I would like $2k credit in Mopar accessories or refund.

At this point I hope nothing else comes up, I'm just tired of dealing with Ram about something that was suppose to be right from the start and has really sucked all the enjoyment of a new truck out of me. I have been getting the run around way to much and there was some mishandling of my case that caused 2 weeks of it being passed around. I finally called the GM, wrote a very displeased letter to the Dealership Customer Service manger, copied my sales man and filled out a Ram customer survey with extremely poor marks and notes of my situation. That seemed to get everyone a bit more motivated because within 24 hours I had 3 phone calls and the first idea (leather seats). Really this is too bad that it requires this level of customer involvement.
