It was my understanding that with a level 2" or under this probably wouldn't be a problem. However, when I got my coilovers installed, at just around 2", I just went ahead and replaced the UCAs as well. I went with Icons.
Had 3 months and messed around in some very small mud holes and trails, but nothing worth even talking about. Paid a small fortune to get a good mud tires and haven't been able to put them to use yet. Now finally that time has come.
Going to some great, great trails this coming...
Guys...I have a 6” lift...37” tires
I currently have 3.92 gears.....I’m told upper 4’s is a better gear for the new setup I have
Now....a service guy told me about the front diff ....that it’s not possible to swap out the front gears because something is welded from factory?????
Hey all, next year I was thinking of upgrading my 3 inch lift to a 6 inch lift on my 2018 1500 4x4. Now I'm torn between keeping 35s or going to 37s. Rims are 20x10 -18 offset. It has the 8 speed and 3.92 gears. My question is... If my 35s weight 73.5 lbs a tire... And the 37s I'm looking at...
Anyone try one out yet? Been wondering how I am going to jack my truck up in the sand or mud to put stuff under the tires to get unstuck in case there is no one else around to pull me out.
Has anyone tried this: http://www.hi-lift.com/accessories/lift-mate.html
How are you guys handling it?
