Anyone have any of their TPS sensors go off for no reason? My right rear tire sets my light off even on hot days or extended driving. May be a faulty sensor in the tire.

My right front did once, went around and checked my pressures with 4 different gauges and they are all within a psi of each other, yet my TPMS all are about 4 psi lower......and the right front did not clear itself for 2 days after that.

If one of the sensors goes into alarm and stays there, the problem is likely the sensor is bad. I have had two of them do this. If the alarm comes and goes for one or more sensors, there is a software update the dealer can do. I had to have that too.

I've had a similar thing happen on hot days (100+ deg) I'll get a TPS error after about 15 minutes of highway driving, but the tire pressure checks OK. Same RR sensor each time. Cooler days no problem...

My Right front shows --- on the screen which keeps coming up and that damn warning lights on the dash, I can't figure out what exactly the sensor looks like and where Exactly it is, obviously on or very near the wheel. any way to turn the damn thing off?

okay, further searching shows they are on the inside of the wheel and valve stem

Just had right front changed it dashed out with recall notice. dealer did recall I drove 10 miles and it dashed again had it replaced next day. Its inside wheel.
