Hit 56,000 miles and my fuel sensor is acting up. I noticed I’m not the only one. Who has their fix stories and or words of encouragement?

mine did the same, in my case it was the fuel sensor in the gas tank,.

bought only the sensor for around 80$ dropped the gas tank on my driveway when my gas was low (use 2 jack to lower it slowly), removed the fuel pump, change the sensor and re assembled, took a little less then 2 hours ,

no problem since, and its been a while since i fix it,

dealer wanted about 800$ cad to fix and said it was 6 hours job

Mine was $1,000 for a new fuel pump (including the sensor) for the garage to drop the tank and replace. I did not want to deal with a tank go fuel. I may go your route next time.
