Im 37 years old I have and own hotords and other trucks that have flowmaster 20s, magnaflow etc and drone is the one thing that kills me in my older age. I was surprised that the 2014 Ram factory exhaust had a decent yet mild rumble to it.

Question: Has anyone deleted the resonator only and left the rest stock and listened to the sound? Let me know. THanks!

I've done a little research on this and most people say the corsa is best, it is louder than stock but doesn't scream until you lay into it and from what I've read there is no drone at highway speeds. I too am waiting a little longer before I pull the trigger though!

LOL, old? your still a kid, LOL.

I had a cat back Borla system on my 2008 Ram and it had no drone and sounded great. Of course Borla puts a lot of R&D into their systems.

I just pulled the trigger on a 22" Maggy and Y-Pipe. I didn't want the drone while cruising on a road trip like I had with my 14" Maggy. After reading countless posts on mufflers, everyone states the 22" Maggy has no drone, a tad louder idle, and a nice deep roar at WOT. Although while cruising you can hardly hear it.

I'm getting it installed tomorrow, so I'll let you know how it sounds.

Corsa and Magnaflow are both good choices. Ive always had Magnaflow and they usually do not drone. But my particular questions is that I like the factory sound.... If we took off that big resonator that is muffling a lot of the noise what would it sound like then. Just the factory? Anyone here do that?

I have been looking at this too. We want the same things for the HEMI sound. My friend just did a resonator delete in his '14 Silverado and it sounded really good actually----no drone he says.
Of course i told him "if it sounds that good on your truck, imagine what it will sound like on a real engine!!"

anyway-might be your guinea pig soon enough. i will let you know

on my buddies 14 i just installed a Mufflex dodm80 which is a bolt on muffler delete that keeps the stock resos... sound is badd ass and no hwy drone and it only took 30min to install..found it on ebay for @$260....they sell 3 other kits that use magna flow 14inch 18inch and 22inch...what nice is if you don't like it unbolt it and swap it out rather then having to cut it out....
