good morning guys and gals, so one of our trucks died this past Friday, driver said it ran rough for a few seconds before dying completely and now wont start. got it towed back to our shop, the engine light is on so I checked for codes. there are 8 codes, all different numbers but all say the same thing, ignition coil "c" secondary circuit. the only difference is the letter in the middle for each cylinder. I tried swapping the ecm from a same year and engine size truck we have here with no change. is that even a proper diagnosis? does the ecm have to be synced specifically to the truck? if that's not it what else controls all the coils? thanks in advance for any advice and help on this.
