Look what I ran across....

Appears RAM is dropping Black Gold for Black Forest Green. I don't see any other differences.

Hopefully by the week of August 25th, they will be announcing more changes or at least options
That is when i will be submitting my order, that is when i plan to be returning from my annual cross country driving vacation

I knew as soon as I ordered there would be a green, although I'm guessing it will be more black most of the time and greenish in just the right light. Still if I had known it was coming I would have waited for a 2015.

Don't think so. Color code PEP is Western Brown. I think its the same color, but thats what they call it on the Chysler 200 etc..

Also in the 2015 builder its still called Western Brown.

I'm intrigued by this green color. It looks black on my screen, but if it has a green tint to it in the sun, that will throw kinks in things for me...especially if it is metallic flake!

I've been dead set that I would either want the blue or dark red (leaning toward the red), but if this green plays out like I think it should in my mind, I think I will be buying that one!

That color is available on Jeeps. It would look something like this in the Sun light.

So I was thinking about getting a 2015 longhorn, but I might just do a Lonestar edition. I like the brown interior. What colors would work best with the brown interior?

Deep Cherry Red and Western Brown seem to be the top ones I think. Would anything else look decent?

That Green w/ a Tan interior would be awesome!! I have a '11 Hunter Green Sport and wished I'd had the Tan interior with it. Now the question is-Trade or keep it???

Good to see that Bright White made the cut again for this year.

Would look even better in the two tone but that's still blocked in the system. Glad I didn't want to get a 2015 since the low chrome two-tone look sold me on the truck, the engine was just gravy. Although yesterday's 31.6 mpg at 55 mph for 125 mile trip was same damn good gravy.

We should know a lot more about the 2015 Rams later this week, they will have several at the Fair

Media Day at the Texas State Fair in Dallas is this coming Thursday, the 25th

The Fair opens to the Public on the 26th

The 2015 Ram 1500s that are there will be Pre-Production models

the Warren Assembly Plant won't be building them until about October 6th

The Saltillo, Mexico Assembly Plant is producing 2015 Heavy Duty Rams currently & at least 1 has been delivered

I have not seen anything about the Standard 2 door models, they are also built in Saltillo

I am holding off on ordering my 2015, until i know a bit more about color choices & possible Options

That's what I meant, a two tone Outdoorsman. I believe the monochrome paint with chrome bumpers is an option on that trim.

2015 Ram at the 2014 Texas State Fair
news is beginning to trickle in

So far the only News is that the Warren Assembly Plant is going to step up production by building another 100 Rams a day above what they did last year

The other news is that they donated $$$ to the Texas Rangers for the new Law Enforcement Museum

I'm wondering if they will change the lower color of the Outdoorsman. I love the idea of bright white with a black lower. It would match my 05 TJ perfectly. Would look awesome towing it on a black trailer. I don't want chrome bumpers at all. Wish they made a SPORT package for 2500s. Love the forum guys. Thanks.

I think they had a Sport option on the 2nd gen HDs, But I have no idea why they got rid of it. Hopefully the new all black HDs are a step towards Sport HDs.
