Anyone experienced a problem with engine not shutting off when placed in park and stop button pushed? If the vehicle does not shut off, I have to take it out of park and then place it back into park and try again. This has been working, but lately I sometimes have to do it 2 times to enable the engine to shut off.
This has been intermittent and Dodge cannot seem to diagnose as it must do it when at the service department. Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this issue and what the remedy was. Thanks.

Does it do it only with one key or have you tried both?

We don't have keys as the truck starts with the FOB and the push start button. We could try the extra FOB to see if that makes any difference though.

It's worth a shot. If you don't have a problem with the other fob then you know it's the fob. If you still have problems you know it's not the fob and you can tell the dealer when it goes in.

Hi Glen Longhorn,

Thank you for sharing this experience. We are sorry to hear that the dealer is having a hard time diagnosing this concern with your Ram. Is your truck currently at the dealer?
