Well this is finally the solution to having the truck into the dealer 6 times to fix this issue.
It was never repaired so I SOLD the truck, I am DONE with Dodge products forever. What a relief.
My 2012 had a bottom bearing going so I had sold that beforehand.
With Ram trucks your pretty much guaranteed engine Hemi ticking on top end, Engine knocking on bottom end or now with the 8-speed transmissions harsh downshifting eventually. That they won’t bother to solve. My very experienced Opinion.
Good bye Ram!!!!!!

So you spun a bearing in your '12-I'm guessing that's what you meant by "going bad" since that's pretty vague-though I am curious how you knew it happened yet the truck still ran well enough for you to trade; and you didn't like the noise the Hemi made on the top end, and you had the rough downshift.

What actual problems did this give you?

Sorry to hear of your troubles. What did you end up switching to?
