I've been banging and spraying penetrating oil and banging and banging for hours. They won't budge.

Any special tricks of the trade I should try?

There are usually two threaded holes in the face of the rotor. Thread in two bolts and as you alternately tighten the rotors should release.

Checked my tech data from work. No attachment hardware on fronts. Of course knowing if 2wd or 4wd might make a difference. Have you tried some heat? I am taking a guess your are replacing? Put lug nuts on to protect studs and smack face between studs with hammer.

This. Use a ball peen hammer, a big one.

If it had never been off of might have a couple of those retainers on 2 studs.
