I have a 2021 Longhorn Limited, 5.7L Hemi eTourque that has been running great for the last 18 months. This past week, on two occasions, I got in my truck, started the engine and tried to shift from Park to Drive. Both times, the shifter knob would not move. My emergency brake was engaged, my seat belt was on and the door was shut. I had to turn the truck off, and immediately restarted. I was then able to move the shifter knob from P to D. Has anyone experienced this problem? Again, for the last 18 months I never had this problem. It just surfaced this week.

Few weeks ago after a car wash my truck would not shift from neutral to drive, These newer cars with so much technology sometimes just act up (bugs) and a shut down/restart resets computer and all is well. My 2020 BigHorn, maybe 2-3 times in 2yrs, radio shut off and restarted randomly (once while using CarPlay getting directions). So yes it has happened to me too but shift from neutral to park was my issue.
