Road trip, about 3100 miles covered with lots of highway driving, some long stop and go construction zones, city driving and lots of idling/remote starts, I averaged about 22.1mpg by the time I pulled into my garage back home. Drove from Michigan to Texas, Nashville, Dollywood, Ohio and back to Michigan. Came across a highway that had speed limit of 80mph which I set cruise control to 88mph. For a 5.7 Hemi with 3.26 gears, 4wd, mid-grade gas used and averaged 22.1mpg at end of trip is super awesome after 3100miles. My father in law who drove his Subaru Ascent 2.5 engine did same trip with me, end of trip averaged 26.4mpg. Yes there was a difference in fuel grade (mine was mid-grade).
