Alright, so I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500, extended cab, short bed. It has a 5.2 L magnum V8 engine.

I just recently went to the junkyard and bought 4 35" tires. We tried putting them on the Truck but at it's current height, the tires aren't able to turn all the way. We were thinking about getting a 2" lift to fix this problem. Will that be enough of a lift, or will I need to go higher?

Welcome aboard as I see this is your first post. I THINK 2" will work. Not sure I would do only a 2". Are you 4x4? I believe a 3" is more commonly accepted for 35's.

Welcome to the site. Dont forget to introduce yourself in the newbie checkin. I think a 2-3" lift would work pretty good.
