Hello all. I'm back into a Ram again (took a short 9 months away from owning one and demo'd one from my work.)... at any rate..

I purchased a Copperhead Pearlcoat 2013 Ram 1500 Express 4X4, Crew Cab, 5'7" box, 5.7L Hemi. It is currently sitting on the factory 20" chrome clad wheels. No modifications have been done to this truck as of yet (NONE AT ALL!! CLEAN SLATE!!!).

I will be purchasing the Rough Country 4" lift (Part # RC-323S) for the truck very soon, but before I do so, I want to determine what I need to do with tires.

My intent is to slap a set of 35X12.5 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's underneath it.. I will be downsizing the rims from 20"s to 17"s ( I know that tidbit doesn't really affect over height, but just for some perspective on my intent.)

I'm looking at a 10" or 10.5" rim and am curious if anyone out there is running something similar.

So... my actual question(s) is/are..

Will I experience any rub or scuff through the turning radius of the truck by going to the 35x12.5 tires with this 4" lift??

If so, what amount of offset would be required in order to prevent it?

I would recommend going with a Zone 4" lift rather than Rough Country. For slightly more money you're getting a far better lift and company backing it. The optimal setup would be the 4" lift with 3" rear coils and Bilsteins set to 1.4" to level the truck out. That will put you at a total of 5.4" of lift on the front end.

Wheel/tire wise you won't have any issues running 35x12.5's with the 4" lift on a 9" or 10" wide wheel.

What makes it a far better lift? Just curious, haven't heard of Zone.. It's going to be installed at my dealership, so as far as difficulty of install I'm not too concerned. Going to install it with our drive train and suspension guys to make sure everything is solid. Haven't pulled the trigger on the kit yet, was hoping to hear from a few folks before doing so.

Got ya. I was considering using different coils in the rear of the truck anyhow and just tossing the spacers. Only wanting to lift it 4" all the way around. I enjoy the look of the rake as it is..just want to raise it up some.

Is Zone military friendly? i.e... I got about $380 knocked off the kit through Harris 4x4.. Who are some retailers to look into for the Zone kit?
