New owner of a 2019 Rebel (5th gen). Love this truck but question about 4x4.

The manual isn't clear on 4x4 (High) engagement. Do you have to come to a complete stop before you shift into 4x4 High or can it be done at lower speeds (while running).

Moreover, the locking diff. Can this be engaged on the fly or does it require a full stop before engaging as well?

Thanks!

The only mode you have to be stopped & in neutral for is 4WD LOW

No, just take it awhile to sync up and engage 4X4. FOund it easier to just take my foot of the throttle, for a second, so it will engage. Done it 75mph, no issues. DId same on my 99 2500 from day one.

You can shift 4hi while moving without issues. 4lo you'll have to put the trans in N while stopped or a 3mph roll in N , and in your case the locker will have to be done from a stop more likely
