I just picked up a 2002 dodge ram 1500 ( newer body style ) I got a good deal on if from a friend of mine, He replaced the 5.9l engine a year or so ago. He told me he replaced it with a 5.9l Durango engine. What is the difference?
1. does it have more power or less
2. he said it had better heads that = more power
3. did 5.9l come in the Durango as a normal engine or was it only a R/T or was there an option for both ?
im new to the dodge trucks so this is a little learning curve for me.
the reason im asking is that im looking to use this truck to pull a trailer and want to see the power of the engine to see what I can pull.
