Hello all. I'm enjoying the posts and subsequent insights from all of you.
I did not come without baggage. Ive owned my 13' for over a year, great truck. The rear sensors and 7 pin trailer connector did not work at the time of purchase...I later found out. The sensors I'm not concerned with yet, 8 total, I assume 4 abandoned and 4 for use but none work. Point here is that someone altered the wires at some point.
The trailer wiring. The original 7 pin did not work, I connected a 4 pin and that worked fine using the yellow, light green and white/brown wires. What I would like assistance with is color coding the wires. I am yet to find anything online that matches the colors I have to connect a 7 pin. The dealership is of no use, they have diagrams of the wire harness as a single part only, no drill down details.
I have the following wires:
yellow- left turn
light green- right turn
white/ brown- running
dark green
black
red/ purple
white/orange
Can anyone identify the wires?
