other than spending the money for factory optional ones is there any other option?

i'm tended to make chevy ones work like these



i got a set at a junkyard for $10 an i think i'll i gotta go is drill couple holes up front on my frame rails an make a little spacer an these would look decent sitting right below my front bumper. an sturdy if done right

I used a set of tow hooks (full loop style) from a ford of a similar year, which already has all the needed drop built in, so there's no need for a spacer. Not a great up close picture, but you get the idea...

I know it's been a long time, but what year exactly did you get the Ford hooks from? And Did they bolt right up or did you have to mod it?
I'm trying to find the easier way to put tow hooks on
