Gentlemen,
Have a low mileage 318 from a jeep available.

What can I anticipate to change for fitment into my 98 Ram?

harness? Intake? mounts ?

I think the easiest way to explain it is...it's a long block replacement.

The best way to do it is to add a day to the swap and do a side by side.

Half of the electronic connections are going to be different, and the intake vacuum lines. you can either plug one or two or add a "t" on the passenger's side. Exhaust manifolds, and a couple other small things.

I've got a '95 and if you decide not to swap it for an hour or twos worth of work...

Between the 96 and 98 they are different, all the sensors will need to be swapped out to the 98 sensors. Even the 3 sensors on the TB.
