After I start the truck to warm up, about 5 minutes in, it starts to run rough. With the hood open I can hear this sucking sound, and then it will go away as the truck heats up, and it stops shaking. If I dont let it warm up all the way, driving down the road it will bog down on power and if you muscle through it the check engine light comes on. After a couple of minutes the truck runs fine again and wont happen until I restart the truck. Sometime when I restart the truck after I havent been in it for an hour or so, it will start to run rough and then stall right out. But that ONLY happens after restarting the truck after running in recently. Restart it and it fine. :4-dontknow:

Things I have already done. I have replaced all plugs, wires, cap, roter, and thermostat, oil, new antifreeze (had to replace water pump). :i_rolleyes:

Maybe vacuum tube? If so which one you think I should check first. Any help would be good on this.

Thanks,

Jeff

How about checking and seeing what that code is? That's a good place to start. I wouldnt be surprised to find an MAP or EGR code stored.

Sounds like maybe an EGR problem, although the one I've had experience with would stall after warming up. Might try squirting some carb cleaner around the EGR right after starting to see if anything changes. Autozone does list gaskets for that. Anyone else?
