I have had this 99 ram v10 with the 47RE for a few years now and only ever had to do common maintenance. But now I actually need it and when I took it out of town a couple days ago it constantly hunts for overdrive from about 40mph and up. Also lost cruise control at when it started doing this. I started cleaning grounds and when I decided there weren't any more and it still wasnt working I replaced the shift solenoid, pressure governor, 3-4 accumulator spring, output speed sensor, and adjusted the bands. Still didnt fix it. Replaced the throttle position sensor, no help. Was told to take a wire from the negative battery terminal to the tcm, didnt fix it. Any help appreciated, I have to move in 3 days and will spend every bit of time till then trying to figure this out.

spend $15 and try a new brake light switch.
Let us know if that worked, would you please?
A lot of one post guys get an answer, that works, and never post up what did the trick so someone else down the road can learn from their WOes.
